The Blanc or "White tea" is a specialty from the Fujian province of China. The tea is made from a mixture of different tea leaves, which are processed to have a slightly grassy taste, similar to the flavor of green tea.
This tea was named after Charles Grey, the prime minister of England in the 19th century. Due to the blend or Ceylon and Indian tea, it has a rich bergamot flavor. It can be served with or without milk and is delightful as either hot or iced tea.
